Dowjac Bassets's Mission The aim of any true- hearted breeder of pure-breed dogs is to improve the quality of that breed.  As such, our philosophy here at Dowjac is that "We only ever breed for quality, not quantity" We hope to show and encourage people to see the how wonderful a companion the Basset Hound is, and encourage more people to add a wonderful new member to their family.    Jim Dowell and John Vandenberg
